From a young age Steve began his career as a personal trainer, working with a mixed range of clients from newbies to athletes. During this time, Steve and his clients picked up a fair amount of injuries, which were alleviate through regular sports massage. He became fascinated by the benefits and results of the treatments, so he decided to become a therapist.
He now has a BTEC Level 5 in sport and remedial massage, as well as a BSc hons in sport and exercise science. Steve had previous experience working in clinics and gyms across London and Essex, also done home and office visits. The most common problem he came across is muscular pain as a result from poor posture, such as sitting at a desk in a hunched position for long periods. That said, sports massage isn’t just for those who are into fitness, it’s also for those who live a stressful, physical and emotional lifestyle.
During his career, has applied a variety of massage therapies (including deep tissue, sports and remedial massage) to those who suffer from a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, such as lower back pain. His personal training background allows him to provide you with exercises and stretches. When combining this with regular massage, you have a better chance of achieving your desired goals. The journey is just as important as the destination.
Steve also offers aromatherapy massage, which offers a relaxing experience that allows your body to absorb therapeutic oils that have a wide variety of benefits, such as reducing stress, tension, anxiety and depression, strengthening your immune system, boosting your energy levels, improving your sleeping habits and many more.
